Manzanillo Port Receives One of The World’s Largest Cargo Ship
Large Vessels Continue Operations at Mexico's Busiest Port.

Despite the start of the Easter holiday, the port of Manzanillo has maintained steady activity, dispatching large vessels, according to arrival and departure records from the National Port System Administration (Asipona) and the Port Captaincy.
Section 2: Yesterday's Operations
The day began at 7 a.m. with efforts to sail the CMA CGM Alexander Von Humbolt, one of the world's largest ships, after completing its container loading and unloading operations.
Section 3: Notable Vessels
The CMA CGM Alexander Von Humbolt has a length of 396 meters and a beam of 53.6 meters, setting a milestone for the port, with an original design capacity of 16,600 TEU.
Following that, the MSC IVA departed, measuring 366 meters in length, 51 meters in beam, with a design capacity of 16,400 TEU.
During the same period, the CMA CGM Dignity, a state-of-the-art vessel powered by natural gas, arrived at the port. With a length of 365.9 meters and a beam of 51 meters, this ship has a design capacity of 15,264 TEU, arriving almost at its maximum capacity, completing the maneuver smoothly.
